We're looking for an individual to sort, organize, and process scrap metal as well as helping customers. This is a hardworking position that requires the individual to have a great attention to detail, and to be adaptable, responsible, and reliable.
Responsibilities:
Perform physical labor outdoors on a regular basis.
Keeping their area clean and organized and free of debris.
Operate heavy machinery such as Forklifts, Sheer, and Balers.
Deal with customers who can occasionally be irate and sometimes law enforcement officials.
Communicate with other employees and the managers and owner about issues.
Work in inclement weather conditions.
Snow removal
Willingness to fill in to other areas of the yard when needed.
Cleaning and sorting metal
Draining cars
Helping unload customers
Bailing metal
Organizing metal
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm
